HII’s Mission Technologies division is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to several members of the Executive Leadership Team. This role requires exceptional judgment, multitasking ability, and a deep understanding of executive-level priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner, ensuring seamless coordination, communication, and execution of leadership initiatives. This position will be based out of our McLean, VA location. Our team of more than 7,000 professionals worldwide delivers all-domain expertise and advanced technologies in service of mission partners across the globe. Calendar & Schedule Management – Coordinate complex calendars across multiple executives, including internal meetings, external engagements, and travel logistics. Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up – Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and action trackers; attend select meetings to capture notes and ensure timely follow-through. Travel Coordination – Arrange domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodations, and expense reconciliation. Communication & Liaison – Serve as a gatekeeper and point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; draft and manage correspondence with professionalism and discretion. Project & Initiative Support – Assist with cross-functional projects, leadership offsites, and strategic planning sessions; track deliverables and deadlines. Confidentiality & Discretion – Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity. Office Operations & Executive Preferences – Ensure executives’ preferences are reflected in daily operations; manage logistics for leadership events and engagements. Qualifications
6 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in related field; 4 years relevant experience with a Master’s in related field; or High School Diploma/equivalent with 10 years relevant experience. 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably in defense, aerospace, or high-tech sectors. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint). Proactive, anticipatory nature with ability to anticipate needs and act with initiative. Clearance eligibility (if required). Bonus points
4-year college degree. Experience supporting multiple executives simultaneously. Familiarity with DoD protocols and executive-level government interactions. Calm under pressure, with a high EQ and professional presence. Ability to manage competing priorities with grace and precision. Benefits & Additional Information
