To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: https://vimeo.com/732533072 What You Will Do Develop, research, and apply machine learning, deep learning, and visual AI algorithms to data sets for operational deployment. Formulate hypotheses based on data analysis and trends; compare real-time results with predictions to refine and optimize algorithms. Design and implement assessment methods to ensure production models are robust, reliable, and mission-ready. Apply AI/ML to domains such as pattern recognition, target detection and tracking, decision systems, robotics, language and speech recognition, machine translation, and information extraction. Collaborate across business units and stakeholders to align technical solutions with mission objectives. What You Must Have 5 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Master’s in related field; 0 years with PhD or JD; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Proficiency in Python, C++, and .NET. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in machine learning and software engineering. Practical experience building and maintaining ML platforms and pipelines. Familiarity with data processing frameworks and modern software development practices including Scrum/Agile, Git, and DevOps. Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. Preferred Requirements Experience in U.S. and Allied space enterprise positions, with knowledge or experience in modeling space phenomena, orbital dynamics, sensors, communication nodes, cyber systems, and simulation environments. Ability to research and deliver new technologies that enhance simulation computational performance. Understanding of DSP/GPU/SIMD programming. Knowledge of massively parallel, distributed, and message-based programming architectures. Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
