is looking for a strategic and committed

Associate Director for Fundraising (Volunteer)

to help drive our resource mobilization and sustainability efforts. This senior-level volunteer position offers an opportunity to shape the fundraising strategy of a growing global health organization and gain visibility in international donor and policy networks. You will work closely with the Executive Director, Board members, and fundraising team to cultivate donor relationships, lead proposal development, and explore innovative funding opportunities to sustain and expand IDA’s impact. Responsibilities

Design and implement IDA’s fundraising strategy in collaboration with leadership Identify, cultivate, and engage potential donors (foundations, institutional partners, private sector) Lead and support the drafting of proposals, concept notes, and donor reports Represent IDA in donor meetings and global health events Mentor fundraising associates, interns, and volunteers Provide strategic advice to align fundraising with IDA’s goals Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit development Proven success in securing grants or contributions from institutional donors or philanthropic partners Strong grant writing, presentation, and communication skills Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff/volunteers desirable Familiarity with global health or international development is an advantage Advanced degree in nonprofit management, public health, international relations, business, or related fields preferred What We Offer
