The Tech@Lilly Enterprise Automation team is seeking an architect/tech lead role to improve system reliability and resiliency, focusing on building automation and implementing AI to reduce manual effort and prevent operations incidents. What You’ll Be Doing

Maintain and support our critical robotic process automation (RPA) portfolio Reduce our support footprint through automation and observability Engage in other software development and system engineering related activities How You’ll Succeed

Collaborate within Global Business Services to promote reliability engineering during all phases of the software lifecycle Use object-oriented development skills to identify, assess, and reduce support footprint by recommending and implementing automation and observability practices Lead the organization in engaging in new development to ensure optimization in end-to-end application lifecycle support Define and champion reliability engineering practices among engineering and product teams Create AiOps, workflows, and utility scripts as published as Iac (Infrastructure as Code) to reduce hands-on support needs long-term What You Should Bring

Incident Management & Response for RPA bots Automation & Infrastructure as Code and System Reliability & Performance Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Experience in reliability engineering and monitoring practices, environments, and tools Experience with programming and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Javascript, Python, etc.) Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field or high school diploma/GED equivalent AND 5+ years of experience in technology delivery and/or working in a full-stack software development environment with support focus 5+ years experience in Full Stack Software Engineering including design, support, and troubleshooting of API and RESTful services/integrations between multiple system points Demonstrated continuous improvement experience with automation or applying technology to improve performance Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
