Overview
Job Title: Lead, Program Finance
Location: Fall River or Northampton MA, Herndon VA, Camden NJ, Salt Lake City UT or Goleta CA
Schedule: 9/80 Regular with every other Friday off
Summary: The Principal Program Finance position will be responsible for the financial management of assigned programs, driving EVMS implementations, improving EAC processes, and ensuring alignment to L3Harris Corporate policies across a wide range of portfolios within Undersea Systems (USS) Division as well as other key strategic programs within Maritime Imaging Systems (MIS).
Responsibilities
Partner with and provide guidance to Program Managers, Technical Leads, and Division/Sector leadership related to financial performance.
Lead the improvement and streamlining of policies and procedures, including finance functional oversight of SAP PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management Optimization) / GPD (Grouping Pegging Distribution).
Influence day-to-day execution of all financial activity related to Programs and Proposals, including development of strategies to achieve program financial goals.
Develop and review time-phased budgets post-contract award; establish KPIs and milestones; report program cost and schedule variances; prepare ETC/EAC and monitor performance data for division management and customers; investigate financial irregularities; ensure financial program compliance; prepare milestone invoices and analyze cash forecast.
Drive program performance; oversee earned value data compliance and reporting; manage cost and schedule integration.
Work with IPT members to execute baselining, Estimate to Completion (ETC), and change management processes.
Ensure EAC adherence to AC-13 and PMO-05 policies; evaluate and implement corrective actions where gaps exist.
Perform risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and schedule risks.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels; proactively solve complex problems with limited supervision.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or related field with minimum 9 years of relevant experience. Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum 13 years related experience.
Experience with SAP Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with EVM Engine software and with an Accounting System of Record.
US citizenship required.
Preferred Additional Skills
Previous experience with SAP ERP Systems.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple demands.
