Warehouse Manager – Charleston, SC Location: Conklin Metal Industries 607 Tradeport Drive, Suite 100 Summerville, SC 29472 Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm (with flexibility to work until 7:00pm as workload requires) About Us
Conklin Metal Industries is a fourth-generation, family-owned distributor of sheet metal, HVAC, and duct fabrication supplies. Since 1874, we’ve proudly supported contractors, fabricators, and builders across the Southeast with top-quality products and unmatched service. With a strong culture built around teamwork, safety, and growth, we are excited to be opening our brand-new Charleston branch this November. Responsibilities
Ensure smooth daily operations by organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees Develop and improve warehouse processes for product handling, storage, inventory control, and shipping/receiving Maintain accurate inventory records through weekly, monthly, and annual audits Lead with a focus on teamwork, safety, and employee development Monitor productivity and create actionable improvement plans Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Assist with additional duties as needed Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in warehouse leadership or management High School diploma or GED required Industrial distribution experience preferred; HVAC industry experience a plus Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; ERP experience preferred (we use Prophet 21) Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in using RF scanners strongly preferred CDL Class A or B license strongly preferred Prior experience launching or setting up a new warehouse highly beneficial Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with flexibility to stay until 7pm as required Benefits
