Director of Operations
to lead plant operations and drive our long-term manufacturing strategy. This high-impact role is responsible for building a lean transformation culture, managing the operational P&L, and delivering operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. What You’ll Do Lead plant operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and process improvement. Manage KPIs across all aspects of operations including production, logistics, purchasing, cost, and labor productivity. Develop and execute strategies for manufacturing optimization, continuous improvement, and capital utilization. Drive a lean culture using tools such as 5S+Safety, Kaizen events, TPM, VSM, and leader standard work. Mentor and empower high-performing teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and operational excellence. Oversee operational P&L, budgets, and capital projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy. Support integration of newly acquired businesses and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. What We’re Looking For You’re a fit for the
Director of Operations
if you possess: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Industrial Engineering degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years at a senior management or director level. Proven success leading operations with full P&L responsibility. Strong background in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Experience in printing/packaging is preferred, but not required (e.g., folding cartons, labels, commercial printing). Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and lead change through hands-on, transparent leadership. Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically. A leader who motivates, engages, and drives results with integrity. Why Join Oliver?
