Overview Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

GPAC is partnered with a well-established Commercial Roofing company seeking a Senior Commercial Roofing Project Manager / Estimator. The projects include a mix of public and private bid work, primarily single-ply re-roof but also metals, built-up, shingles, and more. The position can be office-focused or field-facing depending on preference.

The Senior Commercial Roofing Estimator reports to the Division Director. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the items listed below.

Responsibilities

Complete pre-construction cost estimates.

Prepare contract bids.

Produce project estimates and submittals.

Conduct cost analysis and price labor and materials.

Vendor management.

Change order processing.

Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and clients; follow their protocols.

Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders; translate scope of work into estimating processes.

Read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Provide conceptual estimates from historic data.

Demonstrate managerial skills appropriate for this position and operate in a team environment.

Be PC proficient; utilize estimating software and other project management tools as required.

Qualifications

Experience as an Estimator in commercial roofing (TPO, EPDM, PVC, metals, shingles, and related materials).

Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing and maintenance practices, procedures, and techniques; familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and legislation.

Strong communication skills; detail-oriented and thorough.

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, manage time, be proactive, and meet deadlines.

Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with clients and vendors to reach favorable outcomes.

Ability to read and interpret documents and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Knowledge of construction estimating and scheduling practices.

Familiarity with general contracting procedures.

Software skills include: EDGE or similar estimating software; Procore; PM management experience; scheduling with Microsoft Project or equivalent; Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Ability to work in a team environment and develop relationships with clients and vendors.
