Commercial Insurance Service Manager - Insurance
We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Service Manager to be responsible for managing policy sales and overseeing the service team. The responsibilities of an insurance service manager include setting and monitoring sales goals, facilitating the professional development of the team, and providing co-workers and especially customer support. To be successful as an insurance service manager, you should have strong interpersonal skills, be passionate about providing support and motivation. Ultimately, a top-notch insurance service manager should be an exceptional leader, have good customer relations skills, and be goal-driven.
Responsibilities
Oversee service team (6-12 members)
Assist with managing renewals and oversee managing accounts
Keep up to date with industry developments
Answer customer inquiries
Mediating questions/concerns with customers and carriers
Qualifications
College degree preferred or comparable work experience
5+ years' experience in the commercial insurance industry with a primary focus on service, and in-depth knowledge of applicable coverages
CPCU, CIC, AIS, CRIS designations a plus
Strong base plus bonus/commission
Demonstrated management experience in a client service environment
A Property & Casualty License from state of domicile are required and must be maintained
Solid understanding of policies, products, servicing, and marketing of new and renewal business
Be able to provide mentorship
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent interpersonal skills
