Lead facility alteration and renovation projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and minimal operational disruption. Collaborate with senior leadership and contractors to develop and implement strategic space management initiatives. Exercise independent judgment in evaluating space needs, conducting facility inspections, and coordinating pre-occupancy and transition activities. Develop and manage facility-related budgets, ensuring accurate expense tracking and fiscal accountability. Maintain oversight of project documentation and reporting to support effective decision-making and regulatory compliance. Serve as the primary liaison for tenant relations, resolving complex issues and driving customer satisfaction initiatives. Direct vendor and contractor activities, ensuring service quality and adherence to contract terms and safety standards. Oversee daily facility operations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including GSA requirements. Conduct facility assessments and implement preventive maintenance strategies to ensure safety, functionality, and regulatory compliance. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and inventory control systems to optimize operational efficiency. Additional Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive support for alteration and repair projects from initiation through completion. Collaborate effectively with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to agency operations. Support strategic planning and execution of building space renovations in alignment with directives from the Chief, Workplace Innovation Section. Execute pre-occupancy and transition activities for office spaces, including detailed space request reviews and thorough facility inspections. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and status reports for work requests, work orders, and ongoing facility projects. Assist in developing and monitoring operating budgets for assigned facilities, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accurate expense tracking. Tenant relations and customer excellence; cultivate professional relationships with agency tenants and address needs and concerns efficiently. Implement customer satisfaction initiatives through structured surveys, interviews, and regular tenant engagement meetings. Serve as primary point of contact for tenant inquiries related to building operations, maintenance requests, and facility services. Provide information and assistance to visitors and staff regarding facility operations and procedures. Coordinate furniture and equipment relocations and installations. Maintain organized departmental files and records, including critical safety documentation and operational procedures. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external contractors for complex repairs and maintenance projects. Facility operations and maintenance excellence; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct daily inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns; perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on fixtures and systems. Implement and enforce safety procedures and policies to maintain secure work environments. Coordinate and oversee maintenance services, repairs, alterations, and custodial operations. Ensure adherence to GSA standards and regulations for life safety, energy efficiency, fire protection, and security protocols. Maintain accurate records for equipment, systems, and facility supplies; manage inventory control and procurement. Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for facility operations. Qualifications

Bachelors degree required; demonstrated experience in the furniture industry is preferred. Four plus (4+) years project management experience. CAD design work experience preferred. Strong writing and editing skills; ability to collaborate with team members and work independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, SharePoint preferred) and CAD. Excellent time management, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills. Job Details
