We are presently seeking an EHS Manager who will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and maintaining company (both Corporate and site) environmental, health and safety programs to ensure continuous compliance with applicable International, Federal, State and local environmental health and safety regulations. Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements and implement regulatory compliance programs. Maintain all Environmental Health and Safety permits. Work with engineering teams, supply chain and customers to ensure product compliance to EU RoHS, REACH and WEEE Directives. Work with respective teams to carry out incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions. Recommend corrective action where EHS hazards exist and carry out Job Hazard Risk Assessment with relevant members at the site for each task. Interact with all departments to assist with EHS issues and cultivate a strong safety awareness and culture. Perform workplace ergonomics evaluations, safety inspections and ongoing job hazard analysis. Manage and maintain hazardous materials inventory, profile and manifest waste and recycle programs. Assist in the administration of the site's workers' compensation program with Human Resources. Perform safety engineering reviews on existing equipment and new equipment/processes to ensure all applicable EHS requirements are fulfilled prior to implementation as part of change control/management of change. Train managers and employees to ensure a strong safety culture and habits through Active Safety: general safety, workplace accident prevention and personal injury prevention. Implement structured EHS training programs meeting Federal, State and Local requirements for the nature of the business. Maintain and continuously improve the site's ISO14001 and ISO45001 Management systems. Accurately maintain all EHS records. Manage the Safety Committee as well as the Emergency Response Team (ERT). Manage and host site ISO14001, ISO45001 and all relevant EHS regulatory audits and inspections. All other EHS duties as required. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in EHS, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field with at least 5 to 8 years experience. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Access. Working knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO 14001 required. Certified Industrial Hygiene and experience is preferred. Certified ISO14001 and/or ISO45001 Internal Auditor preferred. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to meet regulatory agency requirements and deadlines. Working knowledge of environmental legislation including RCRA, DOT 49 CFR, NPDES, MASS DEP permitting, etc. is required. ERT experience preferred. Certified in CPR/First Aid/AED preferred. Certification in Hazmat handling, DOT 49CFR, 40 hours Hazwoper and Universal waste required. Working knowledge of EU RoHS, REACH, PFAS and China RoHS preferred. Must be eligible to work on State Department controlled products (ITAR controlled). Pay Range: $110,000-$150,000 annually based on experience. Our facility in Boulder, Colorado has key functions in Research and Development, Operations, Production, and other disciplines. This facility specializes in the manufacturing of ultra-precision optical components, optical thin film coatings and optical sub-assemblies for demanding applications in lasers, materials processing, instrumentation, life sciences, avionics, and defense.
