We are seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives and expand our presence in the San Ramon and East Bay area. This leadership role is ideal for a strategic, results-driven professional who thrives on building lasting partnerships, developing referral pipelines, and driving census growth. Build and maintain referral networks with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, and social workers. Lead community outreach efforts by representing Qualicare at health fairs, networking events, senior expos, and professional associations. Develop and execute territory growth strategies, including in-person visits, educational presentations, and relationship management. Track and analyze referral trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and ensure targets are met. Collaborate with intake and clinical teams to ensure a seamless referral-to-admission experience that reflects our commitment to client care. Report on business development outcomes and provide leadership with insights on opportunities for growth. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3–5 years of business development or sales experience in home health, hospice, senior living, or related healthcare industry. Established network of referral sources in the East Bay/San Ramon area strongly preferred. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and drive census growth. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse professional groups. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and territories. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within assigned territory. Compensation & Incentives
Base Salary: $135,000 (commensurate with experience and local network strength) Commission: Will be further discussed in the interview Benefits
