We are seeking a Supervisor, Senior Scientist with deep expertise in In Vivo Pharmacokinetics (PK) studies to lead and contribute to our DMPK team. This role combines hands-on scientific work with leadership responsibilities, including supervising technical staff, overseeing rodent PK study design and execution, and ensuring compliance with AAALAC and IACUC guidelines. Key Responsibilities
Establish, train and provide scientific direction, oversight, and guidance to the technical staff that support in vivo studies. Design, supervise, and conduct rodent PK studies, ensuring compliance with AAALAC and IACUC guidelines. Draft, review, and interpret study protocols, data, and reports with scientific rigor and accuracy. Ensure efficient scheduling of studies and staff to optimize capacity and deliver high-quality results on time. Partner with project management, business development, and bioanalysis teams to ensure seamless client interactions and study execution. Act as a technical representative in sales discussions with new and prospective clients. Implement harmonized processes, best practices, and state-of-the-art methodologies for PK studies. Recommend and implement strategies to improve productivity, increase efficiency, and maintain scientific excellence. What We're Looking For
PhD, MS, or BS
in Pharmacokinetics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline. 5+ years of laboratory experience in a CRO environment. 3+ years of management experience, including staff development and budget oversight. Strong expertise in rodent PK studies, including dosing, sampling, and tissue collection/processing. Proficiency with noncompartmental analysis (Phoenix WinNonlin) is required. Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused mindset.
