We are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our crisis support center in Las Vegas, NV. This role plays a critical part in driving operational efficiency, optimizing processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products or services to customers. Since 2015, Nevada Behavioral Health Systems (NBH) has been providing mental health and substance abuse services to residents across Nevada. By collaborating with a diverse network of experienced behavioral healthcare providers, we have built a community-based care system that offers members personalized options tailored to their individual needs. In 2023, we rebranded as NovumHealth with the expansion of our services in Arizona, California, and Utah. Position:

Las Vegas, NV – Onsite (This role is not eligible for Remote or Hybrid) Starting Salary Range:

$80,000 The starting salary range for this role is a reasonable estimate, with a goal to pay a competitive market salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education and certification, skills, and internal pay equity. What’s the role?

The Director of Operations for the crisis support center is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the organization. Developing and implementing operational strategies, plans, and initiatives aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Managing and optimizing operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness. Monitoring and analyzing operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Managing and developing a high-performing operations team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Establish and maintain effective vendor and supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to operations. Identifying and implementing technology solutions and tools to streamline operations and enhance productivity. Continuously assessing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive operational innovation and improvement. Collaborating with senior management, the multidisciplinary team, and providing operational insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. What you’ll bring: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Knowledge of operational best practices and process optimization techniques. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify operational issues and implement effective solutions. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Strong understanding of supply chain management and vendor relationship management. Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to the behavioral healthcare industry. Experience implementing technology solutions for operational improvement. Strategic thinking and ability to align operational activities with organizational goals. Strong influencing skills to inspire and encourage teammates. Continuous learning and willingness to stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in operations management. What you’ll need to start: Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required. State licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist) is required. Additional certifications in crisis intervention, drug and alcohol counseling, or trauma-informed care are advantageous. Must pass drug screening and background check in order to start employment with Novum Health. Must be willing to receive vaccinations in accordance with hospital and state requirements. What will make you stand out: Previous experience in behavioral health or healthcare environments. Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations management or a related leadership role, with at least 1 year in a people management role. Strong knowledge of operational principles, practices, and methodologies. Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies and process improvement initiatives. Experience in healthcare or mental health is strongly preferred. What do we offer?
