Overview
Senior Project Manager for water and wastewater conveyance systems, based in Central US (Texas focus). The role leads complex infrastructure projects and works with a dynamic, diverse team of water specialists to deliver positive outcomes for communities. Location: Westlake Village, TX Responsibilities
Lead planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater conveyance projects, including pipelines, force mains, gravity sewers, and pump stations. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control across all phases. Coordinate with clients, permitting agencies, contractors, and internal technical teams. Prepare and review engineering reports, design documents, specifications, and cost estimates. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Support permitting and environmental documentation processes. Conduct work to appropriate professional standards and to the firm’s QA/QC requirements. Participate in QA/QC programs for other projects as requested by managers. Perform schedule reviews on construction projects and maintain/develop schedules for design and construction of assigned projects. Provide mentoring to engineering staff to support the team's technical skill development. Manage projects’ budget and schedule. Lead proposal development efforts for new business. Grow relationships with existing and prospective clients; this includes business development, sales and marketing. Qualifications
Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in environmental or civil engineering. Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to acquire upon six months of hire date. 10+ years of water/wastewater design experience in municipal water, wastewater, water resource, and/or conveyance projects in the Central US region; preference to 10 years of experience in the Texas market. Significant experience in de-salination plants, water and wastewater treatment, conveyance and pump station projects. Experience coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail, schedule, and budget. Ability to present technical information, both written and orally, in a concise and professional manner; strong technical writing skills.
