Consulting - Tech Consulting - FinTech - Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) - Manager Role Description

Our EPM team helps apply cutting-edge technology and techniques to bring solutions to our clients. You will help our clients navigate the complex world of Enterprise Performance Management through detailed process design and implementation support. Our Advisory Seniors specialize in serving EY clients by guiding them through complex systems of forecasting, planning, budgeting and the integration with analytical and reporting solutions. You will provide clients with a unique business perspective on how these processes can transform and improve their organization. This is an expanding area of our practice with high growth and opportunities to enhance skills for individuals building a career. Your Key Responsibilities

Spend time managing client engagement teams, working with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, and managing business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts. Focus on the effective management and delivery of technology solutions, ensuring quality and risk management. Engage in continuous process improvement and the identification of innovative solutions. Develop solutions to complex problems and recommend policy changes. Establish procedures that affect your immediate work area and potentially the broader business function. Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Skills and Attributes for Success

Fostering relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently delivering quality client services. Driving high quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitoring progress, managing risk and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Managing expectations of client service delivery. Staying up to date with current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. Effectively managing and motivating client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Providing constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Mentoring junior consultants within the organization. Cultivating and managing business development opportunities. Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships and networks. Assisting in the strategy and implementation of EPM tools, processes and transformational solutions. Application and Tool Analysis; Cloud Computing Architecture; Cybersecurity and Privacy Architecture; Complex problem solving and critical thinking; Building and managing relationships; Communicating with impact. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree). Typically, no less than 4–6 years of relevant experience. Minimum of five years’ experience in providing complex consultative services in master data management, planning, budgeting, forecasting or BI reporting. Working knowledge of a component of the modern EPM solutions landscape (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle FCCS/HFM, Oracle Planning, OneStream, Tagetik). Strong working knowledge and point of view on evolving EPM concepts and practices. Proven track record of translating business challenges into value-add solutions with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Background candidates may include financial analyst/FP&A, EPM systems admins, long-range/strategic planners, or implementation consultants. Strong analytical and communication skills; willingness to travel to meet client needs. Ideally, degree emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Computer Science, MIS, or IT. Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $139,100 to $254,900 (NYC Metro/Washington, CA adjustments). Total Rewards include medical/dental, pension/401(k), and paid time off. Hybrid work model with most client-facing roles expected to work in person 40–60% of the time.
