(Senior) Business Development Manager – Antibody Discovery Location:

antibody discovery and development services . With cutting-edge platforms and a strong track record of delivering custom antibody solutions, the organization serves top biotech and pharmaceutical clients across the globe. Its integrated discovery capabilities span from early-stage immunization through to candidate selection, enabling breakthrough therapeutics across multiple modalities and therapeutic areas. Position Overview The Senior Business Development Manager will serve as a key individual contributor within the commercial team. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities focused on antibody discovery services. The ideal candidate will combine deep scientific knowledge with strong commercial acumen and an established network within the therapeutic antibody R&D space. Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage new business opportunities with biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic organizations in the assigned territory. Develop and implement strategic territory and account plans to achieve sales objectives. Manage the full business development lifecycle, from lead generation to deal closure, including proposal development, pricing negotiation, and contract execution. Collaborate closely with internal scientific and operational teams to ensure client needs align with company capabilities. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pipeline activities, and sales forecasts using CRM tools. Represent the company at key industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings. Act as a trusted partner to clients, maintaining current knowledge of trends in antibody therapeutics, discovery platforms, and the competitive landscape. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences required; advanced degree (PhD, MSc, MBA) strongly preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles within a CRO, CDMO, biotech, or pharmaceutical environment - preferably in the field of antibody discovery or biologics. Solid understanding of antibody discovery technologies. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding commercial targets in a technical sales environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setting with periodic travel for client engagement and industry events.
