The Floating Store Manager (FM) is responsible for the management of the ongoing day to day operations of the store, while adhering to Company policies and procedures; direct supervision of staff; maximizing store profits and ensuring a high level of customer services and store appearance. Maintain and supervise day to day store operations in alignment with company policies and procedures. Direct supervision of staff; ensure high levels of customer service and store appearance; maximize store profits. Lead by example and promote a guest-first mentality; contribute to a positive team environment. Recruit, hire, train, motivate, develop, discipline and terminate staff using appropriate documentation (e.g., new hire packets, reference checks, communication forms). Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards; order and receive merchandise per inventory guidelines. Ensure adequate gasoline levels and coordinate gasoline deliveries; maintain accurate fuel inventory records and report variations. Perform daily accounting paperwork and transmit by noon to accounting office; make daily bank deposits by noon. Account for ATM and Lottery funds daily and make deposits where applicable. Record and report fuel, inventory and cash handling discrepancies; monitor shift cash handling and assist in investigations of shortages/overages. Audit cashier paperwork for accuracy; maintain image standards and report maintenance issues or unusual occurrences to management. Price book maintenance; operate security cameras and other tools as applicable; manage PDI reports and functions. Schedule, monitor and control payroll hours on a daily, weekly and bi-weekly basis. Communicate effectively with associates and guests; ensure ability to count, read and write accurately for required paperwork. Perform additional merchandise price surveys and cover manager vacancies at other store locations as needed. Hire, train and develop an assistant manager capable of running the store in your absence. Gauges of Responsibility

Ensure a quality buying experience for all customers. Perform competitive gas price surveys daily. Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by noon to accounting office. Make daily bank deposits by noon; maintain compliance binder; monitor and improve cash handling and inventory controls. Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation; keep fuel inventory records accurate and report variations. Protect and maintain image standards; report environment, maintenance issues and unusual occurrences to the proper authority and management personnel. Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions; implement all Company promotional initiatives. Experience monitoring payroll, labor allocation, scheduling and managing expenses; coach and develop team members through leadership. “Fuel” for You

Must be available to work flexible hours that may include days, nights, weekends and/or holidays. 1-2 years supervisory experience. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Leadership experience in a fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment preferred. Experience selecting, training, and managing staff; experience with labor allocation, sales building, scheduling, and managing expenses; experience coaching and developing team members. Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and lift up to 25 lbs during a shift. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
