Overview

As a Director, Experience Strategy, you will be the day-to-day Strategy lead, bringing sophistication and strategic perspective to clients’ business needs with the objective of driving business growth. You will be the dedicated Strategy lead for a dynamic client that markets a portfolio of owned and licensed consumer brands, from beauty to wellness to home to outdoor. You will uphold strategic excellence and output quality, ensuring that you strengthen agency relationships. This role requires a vocal and engaged approach, with accountability for all aspects of Strategy and the ability to operate autonomously when needed. Qualifications

You’re a builder and a connector – someone who can synthesize data, culture, and business context into focused strategic thinking. You’re naturally curious, sharp on details, and comfortable working across teams to shape stronger media experiences. Experience developing integrated strategy recommendations with a track record of excellence in output. Deep expertise and up-to-date knowledge of client businesses including financials, industry category, competitive landscape, and campaign workflows. Demonstrated leadership in driving strategic excellence and client growth in agency environments. Strong ability to communicate confidently with senior clients, presenting complex concepts clearly. Experience in applying audience insights and cultural intelligence to practical brand and media strategies. Fluency in industry tools like YouGov, Mintel, GWI, Bera, Warc Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Demonstrated track record of effective communication and consultation with senior clients around business challenges and strategic opportunity. Proven ability to elevate strategic role with clients through impactful initiatives and partnership. Successful collaboration with audience and activation teams to embed strategy across campaign deliverables. Delivery of strategic narratives and decks that clearly inform client recommendations. Contribution to award-winning work and participation in new business growth. Positive client feedback and consistently strong TRR scores citing Strategy as a key strength. Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Team & Client Leadership: Serve as the day-to-day Strategy point of contact for all internal teams and for clients, building and maintaining trusted relationships. Elevate the role of strategy within client businesses and across the agency by leading the development of measurable strategic platforms & communications frameworks, learning agendas, thought leadership, and new partner recommendations. Collaborate with audience, planning, and activation teams to socialize insights, and ensure strategic direction is consistently applied across recommendations and campaigns. Consult with audience teams on growth sources, custom audience models, and psychographic, transactional, and behavioral insights to build out audience personas. Become an expert in Hearts’ and OMG’s solutions, and how/when to position them to address client’s business challenges. Support the Managing Executive Director & Chief Strategy Officer on new business, contributing expertise across research, communications frameworks development, and presentation-building. Experience Strategy Development & Delivery: Lead landscape research exercises, mining for insights across Company, Category, Competitive, Culture, & Consumer to inform strategic recommendations. Build strategic recommendations aligned with client & campaign lifecycles, including strategic platforms and communication frameworks; incorporate learnings & takeaways from landscape research. Present your strategies to senior clients in convincing ways. Oversee storylines for tactical presentations, ensuring your strategic recommendation is brought to life in tactical planning. Manage quality control and maintain excellence in strategic output throughout all planning cycle work. Monitor emerging market trends across your category to identify whitespace opportunities. Gain fluency in proprietary Omnicom and third party tools to develop clear and impactful recommendations. Oversee the strategic storyline for award entry submissions for work across your clients, supporting agency visibility and recognition. Compensation & Benefits

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits. Compensation Range: $90,000—$215,000 USD. Note:

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. The number of in-office days may be adjusted over time based on business needs.
