POSITION SUMMARY Join Freixenet Mionetto USA and play a key role in driving impactful PR strategies that support our business goals and elevate our renowned wine brands. In this role, you will create and implement PR plans, develop press materials, and design integrated PR tools. You will collaborate with internal teams and external agencies, build media relationships, and support brand visibility through media storytelling and events. This position offers a valuable opportunity to work hands-on in shaping the PR direction of globally recognized sparkling and still wine brands. RESPONSIBILITIES Support the development of PR strategies across the Freixenet Mionetto USA portfolio according to business goals and objectives. Run projects, including highly collaborative campaigns across marketing, social, and partnerships, to shape integrated campaigns in ways that maximize PR impact strategically and press coverage. Plan, develop, activate, and implement annual public relations plans in support of the overall PR strategy. Create, edit, and develop brand PR materials including messaging, news releases, executive briefs, external talking points, FAQs, presentations, and pitches, among other assets. Ideate and execute creative press mailers, including sourcing vendors, managing production, and distribution. Monitor and measure success using available tools and resources and deliver metrics on a timely basis to the sales team, producers, and senior management. Collaborate with brand teams, digital and social teams, and external agencies to support the business's PR goals, developing consistent and top-tier press coverage across trade, consumer, and lifestyle segments. Develop and nurture professional media relationships across consumer, lifestyle, and trade verticals as well as other key outlets/journalists to consistently and effectively “pitch” brand stories, including regularly meeting with journalists to forge strong relationships. Manage incoming media requests, following up with reporters when necessary to get pertinent information. Regularly conduct written and verbal press outreach to top-tier media to secure brand feature stories. Help produce, execute, and staff media events from beginning to end, including creation of invite lists, securing media attendees, drafting press materials, building media itineraries, and serving as a media point-of-contact. Create monthly proactive pitch calendars based on cultural trends, consumer insights, and editorial calendars. Collaborate with global PR counterparts to compile, prepare, and share monthly and annual reports for stakeholders. Support external PR agency oversight and management. Identify consumer and media trends, news cycles, and opportunities. Develop and manage LinkedIn strategy and content creation. REQUIREMENTS Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in PR / Journalism / Communications / Marketing 5 years PR experience, a minimum of 2 years in BevAl. Creative and strategic PR thinking and planning Ability to interact with all levels of Trade and Consumer media and influencers Clear, concise, and persuasive written and oral communication with the press, suppliers, marketing team, and sales force Excellent written communication skills with attention to proper grammar Ability to multitask and prioritize delivering results on time Have a solution-focused mindset & contribute to a strong team culture of urgency COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Base salary range: $85k-$95k/yr. exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
