The Department of Economics at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in macroeconomics. The starting date for the position is August 2026. Performance Objectives

The candidate will be expected to: establish and maintain an active research program, support our commitment to excellence in teaching, mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Education and Experience Requirements

Required : Candidates must have a PhD in Economics before employment begins in August 2026, and have a research, teaching, and service record commensurate with rank. Desired : Priority is given to candidates whose research (job market paper in particular) is innovative and of high quality. 5) a Job Market Paper
