Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Training Consultant to lead the reevaluation and revamp of our current training program. This consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing a modern, adult learning-focused approach to training delivery. The role includes training and mentoring our current trainers to ensure consistent, effective, and engaging learning experiences for all staff. Key Responsibilities
Assess and analyze the effectiveness of the current training program and materials. Design and implement improvements to training content and delivery, with a focus on adult learning principles and engagement strategies. Train, coach, and mentor existing trainers to elevate their instructional skills and ensure alignment with new training standards. Collaborate with HR and department leaders to identify training needs and measure outcomes. Utilize microlearning, interactive techniques, and technology to enhance learning retention and participation. Coordinate and deliver training sessions, monitor progress, and adjust approaches as needed. Qualifications
Proven experience as a Training Consultant, Corporate Trainer, or similar role, preferably in adult education or professional development. Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design. Experience training trainers and facilitating “train-the-trainer” programs. Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills. Ability to work onsite in Baltimore, MD. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field preferred. Details
Contract position, onsite Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm. Immediate start preferred. Pay: $35–$48/hr, depending on experience Benefits
