Position Summary This role reports directly to the Senior Accounting Manager and is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of investor-related accounting communications. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both the back-office and LP-facing aspects of venture capital clients, prior to engaging in traditional financial accounting. Key Responsibilities Prepare and validate capital call calculations, supporting documentation, and related LP/GP communications Generate and review LP capital call notices using the Client Relationship Management system Calculate late admission interest and allocate management fee reductions Develop distribution proposals, including carried interest calculations, for leadership review Perform recycling calculations as required Draft investment summaries for distribution notices and manage notice exports from the CRM system Track investment return proceeds and coordinate timing with the Fund Accounting Team and external brokers Partner with the Tax Team to assess and execute any necessary tax distributions or withholdings Monitor fund cash balances and recommend capital calls or distributions when appropriate Assist in onboarding new funds and clients, including the setup of essential documentation and systems Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to communicate key processes, provide requested materials, and ensure timely completion of audit requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 3–4 years of relevant experience, ideally in Big Four or a reputable regional public accounting firm Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays) Retirement savings plans 401(k) with employer match Life and disability insurance Employee assistance programs Unlimited PTO Equal Opportunity Employer To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: California Fair Chance Act; Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance; Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers; San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Human Resources Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at LHH by 2x Get notified about new Accountant jobs in
