Other Conditions: Candidates are expected to contribute to undergraduate teaching in General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and/or Organic Chemistry within the Chemistry Department. Instructional duties may include lectures, scheduled study and review sessions, and supervision of laboratory classes with or without teaching assistants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach assigned undergraduate lecture and/or lab courses (up to 12 credit hours per semester) Serve as instructor and coordinate teaching assistants for general, analytical and/or organic chemistry lab courses Minimum Qualifications: M.S. from a college or university of recognized standing with major coursework in Chemistry or a closely related field Evidence of ability to teach effectively Desirable Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field At least 2 years prior experience teaching college-level chemistry courses To apply: Click on the “Apply” button on the top right corner of the screen to complete an application and attach all of the required documents in a single pdf file.
