Amergis is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our multidisciplinary team. The BCBA will play a critical role in supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs through evidence-based interventions, staff training, and collaboration with educators and families. Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to implement behavior strategies across school settings Provide direct support and supervision to paraprofessionals and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis; adjust interventions as needed Deliver professional development and training sessions for school staff on ABA principles and behavior management Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of behavior goals Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards Qualifications
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Experience working in school settings or with school-aged children preferred Strong understanding of ABA methodologies and educational practices Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt to dynamic school environments Competitive salary (DOE) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid holidays and school breaks Professional development opportunities
