A full-time or part-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-26 school year serving K-12 students across multiple schools including elementary, middle, and high school campuses. This role is based onsite near the scenic coastal area of Rock Hall, MD, just a short drive over the bridge with access to waterfront living and convenient proximity to major East Coast cities.
Responsibilities
Conduct a variety of psychological evaluations including cognitive, social/emotional/behavioral, adaptive assessments, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) Complete comprehensive assessments and prepare reports in compliance with school requirements Participate in IEP and Student Support Team (SST) meetings to collaborate on student educational planning Provide consultation to educators and support school teams with behavior strategies as needed May offer supportive counseling services, though no current caseload identified in this area Manage a caseload to effectively support students from pre-kindergarten through 21 years old Qualifications
Maryland School Psychologist license required Experience preferred, particularly in K-12 educational settings Strong skills in assessment, report writing, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to working onsite; hybrid work consideration possible but all evaluations must be completed in person Location and Schedule
Work assigned at 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school within the district Monday through Friday schedule with possible shifts of 7:20 AM – 2:40 PM or 8:30 AM – 3:50 PM Benefits & Perks
