A school psychologist opportunity is available for the 2025-26 school year in the Baltimore, MD area, serving a K-12 school district with campuses in elementary, middle, and high school settings. This full-time or part-time contract position offers a unique working environment near the coast, providing an appealing lifestyle for professionals interested in the East Coast beach area within easy reach of major cities. Responsibilities
Conduct a wide variety of psychological evaluations including cognitive, social/emotional/behavioral, adaptive assessments, FBAs, and BIPs as needed. Manage a caseload of students from PK-21 years of age. Participate actively in IEP and SST meetings. Develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Provide counseling support if required, although currently no students need counseling services from the school psychologist. Complete all evaluations onsite, with a possible hybrid schedule considered as long as onsite evaluations are fulfilled. Qualifications
Valid Maryland school psychologist license is required. Prior experience in school psychology is preferred. Ability to work onsite in the Baltimore/Rock Hall, MD area; candidates must be able to complete evaluations onsite. Reliable transportation for travel between assigned schools. Location
Location: Schools are located near Rock Hall, MD, offering a desirable coastal setting for those willing to commute or relocate. Benefits
