Founded in 1944, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley (BGCSV) serves over 8,000 youth annually through its after-school and summer programs. Our mission is to equip all young people, especially those who need us most, with the skills and opportunities necessary to succeed in school, work, and life. We are seeking a talented Grant Writer to help secure funding that supports our programs and amplifies our impact. This role involves researching funding opportunities, writing compelling proposals, managing the grant lifecycle, and building strong relationships with funders. You will collaborate with program and finance teams to tell our story while ensuring compliance with all funding requirements. Responsibilities
Research and identify new funding opportunities. Write and submit persuasive grant proposals and reports. Manage deadlines, renewals, and compliance requirements. Cultivate relationships with funders and coordinate site visits. Maintain accurate records and data for reporting purposes. Qualifications
2–3 years of grant writing or related nonprofit fundraising experience. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven. A collaborative team player with a passion for youth development. Relationships with funders.
