Overview

CORE is seeking a full-time Construction Safety Manager to serve our construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Safety Manager will work as a leader and coach to all field teams, collaborating with project teams on mid to large-scale commercial construction projects, primarily for K-12 school districts, colleges, municipal buildings and public safety buildings. This is an in-person position on CORE jobsites, with travel to and from multiple construction project sites throughout the DFW Area. The Safety Manager acts as a liaison and safety resource for the site team and supports project sites by monitoring and ensuring that employees follow the policies and procedures of our projects and Safety Manual. Responsibilities and qualifications below reflect the required duties and expectations for this role. Responsibilities

Administers, orients, and assists trade partners to ensure safety policies and procedures are practiced according to CORE’s safety program. Conducts new-hire safety orientation outlining the safety program, safety requirements and expectations on the project site, as well as the client’s safety policies and procedures. Prepares, coordinates, and conducts training on health, safety and environmental topics to protect and improve employee and project site performance, complying with legislative requirements. Works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to maintain clean, safe, secure, and hazard-free project sites in compliance with CORE policies and procedures, as well as applicable safety laws. Conducts random and scheduled on-site inspections, communicates findings to ensure workplace safety, and routinely audits on-site safety compliance. Assists supervisors in investigating and documenting incidents/accidents and injuries, ensuring proper documentation systems are in place. Coordinates and maintains workplace plans, such as emergency evacuations, fire emergencies, traffic controls, etc. Communicates information on identified hazards, precautions, and corrective actions throughout the project site as necessary. Establishes and maintains on-site relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, and provides guidance on health and safety issues to field staff and project sites. Keeps safety records and documents current as per legislative requirements and stays informed on current health and safety knowledge, trends, laws, and regulations. Distributes safety materials, supplies and equipment as needed. Note:

Minimum of 7 years construction safety supervisory experience. Professional Degree in Health & Safety or related field (construction management, engineering, etc.) is preferred. Must be able to pass a background check, as required by clients. OSHA 30 is required. CHST is preferred; OSHA 500 is preferred. First Aid / CPR certification is preferred. Strong and assertive written and verbal communication skills. Basic understanding of construction and construction sequencing. Technology proficiency: Microsoft Office, Procore and Predictive Solutions. Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service. Must be willing to travel throughout the DFW area. A valid Driver’s License. This is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the employee is not eligible for overtime compensation. Employment type:
