Pennoni is seeking an experienced EHS (Environmental, Health, & Safety) professional to join as a
Health & Safety Specialist
on a full-time, direct basis at our Natick, MA office. The role involves working on projects at client sites across Massachusetts, especially in the greater Boston area and surrounding regions. Primary Responsibilities
Assist with program performance reporting and data management. Support employee access to safety training and safety equipment, including PPE. Oversee administrative responses to workplace incidents. Contribute to writing and reviewing safety procedures. Respond to employee concerns related to Health & Safety. Develop materials to increase employee awareness and engagement in safety. Participate in field work for special projects as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Basic Requirements
Associate’s degree or higher in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, EHS, Safety Management, or related field. 5+ years of professional experience in EHS-related tasks, preferably with Occupational Health & Safety responsibilities. ASP (Associate Safety Professional) certification at minimum; CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) preferred. Note: Field work may be required, so a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are necessary. Preferred Qualifications
OSHA credentials (e.g., OSHA 30-hr Construction Outreach, OSHA 500/510, OSHA 501/51). Experience with safety program reporting and project coordination. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications. Ability to work independently and in teams, demonstrating dependability. Experience updating Hazard Communication Plans, conducting Compliance Audits, and managing Incident Reporting guidelines. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; public speaking experience is a plus. Why Pennoni?
