Position Overview:
The Desktop Support Services role involves managing and maintaining user endpoint devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Responsibilities include inventory management, asset recording, and customer acceptance documentation. The role requires travel to customer locations, so flexibility is essential. Key Responsibilities: Provide recommendations on review, inventory, and procurement of end-user systems. Deploy end-user systems for new hires or system refreshes. Manage and support customer end-user systems and devices daily. Protect systems using customer-supplied security solutions. Handle destruction and disposal of end-of-life systems, including certificates. Deploy software packages as specified. Coordinate with third-party suppliers for printer issues. Maintain network printers, including toner replacement and maintenance. Manage projects related to workstation and printer services. Maintain inventory of devices. Follow onboarding and offboarding processes. Ensure system availability per SLA requirements. Candidate Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred. Minimum 5 years experience with PC systems, peripherals, cabling, and software. A+ certification. Familiarity with Windows OS, Office, and Apple iOS. Strong inventory and documentation skills. Experience with desktop/laptop hardware. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Qualified candidates can expect an hourly rate of $38.00-$40.00, adjusted based on location and market rates. Benefits:
