Overview

Advanced Practice Provider - Urgent Care. Appointments and details reflect a clinical role in urgent care with independent practice in collaboration with a team of APPs, physicians, and nurses to provide direct care for patients with acute illness and injury. The APP consults with specialty services and other members of the health care team to deliver effective, efficient, safe, and high-quality care. The Urgent Care APP supports system improvements to meet departmental and organizational goals. We are open to a range of 0.6 to 0.9 FTE, based on candidate interest and program needs. Responsibilities

APPs work independently with a collegial and collaborative team of other APPs, physicians, and nurses providing direct care to patients presenting to the urgent care with acute illness and injury. The APP consults with specialty services and other members of the health care team to deliver effective, efficient, safe, and high-quality care. The Urgent Care APP supports SCH system improvements to meet departmental and organizational goals. Qualifications and Credentials

Required Education And Experience

Master\'s degree in nursing with a concentration in a pediatric or family nurse practitioner program OR graduate of a nationally accredited physician assistant program. One year work experience in a pediatric or family focused clinical area. Required Credentials

For Nurse Practitioners: Active, unencumbered registered nurse and advanced registered nurse practitioner licensure in the State of Washington. Current national certification as a pediatric or family nurse practitioner. For Physician Assistants: Active, unencumbered physician assistant licensure in the State of Washington. Initial certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. For All Providers

Active Drug Enforcement Administration registration. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Some clinical locations may require American Heart Association Pediatric Life Support training and continuous maintenance of certification. Active clinical privileges as an Allied Health Provider at Seattle Children\'s Hospital must be secured prior to time of hire and maintained in good standing and in compliance with all medical staff bylaws, throughout employment. Any and all medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children\'s will terminate automatically upon termination of employment. Preferred

Two years experience in advanced practice provider role. Two years experience in pediatric health care. Compensation and Benefits

Compensation Range

$79,092.60 - $174,484.80 per year. Note: This position is currently eligible for an off-shift premium of up to 15% which would increase total compensation by an additional amount. Salary information also notes a base pay range listed as $11,863.80/yr - $174,484.80/yr in some postings. Relocation
