Kirby . We are seeking an HS&E Manager for our Florida Detroit Diesel Allison and Atlantic Detroit Diesel Allison locations. Responsible for administering a safety program that includes training, medical surveillance, employee awareness, job hazard analyses, compliance monitoring, industrial hygiene, accident investigation, and communication. Advises and trains Safety Committees, participates in the safety leadership team, oversees the Emergency Response Team (medical), and manages vendor relationships related to safety, health, and medical items. Responsibilities

Design, implement, and communicate safety policies, procedures, and rules to ensure safety of all employees, vendors, and visitors. Coordinate and purchase safety and health-related items for the facility. Analyze work instructions to ensure safety standards are included. Conduct safety audits and inspections periodically. Coordinate employment physicals, drug screens, and ensure physical requirements are met for new and current employees. Plan and conduct safety training. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and stay current with environmental legislation. Handle work-related injuries and illnesses promptly, including first response, transportation, and medical documentation. Investigate accidents, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions. Maintain relationships with environmental agencies, vendors, and internal teams. Assist with HR issues. Ensure ISO and OSHA recordkeeping is up-to-date, including the Hazardous Waste Management Program. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or 4-10 years related experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Goal-oriented with sound decision-making abilities. Skills & Abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Certificates & Licenses

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certifications preferred. Other Requirements

Knowledge of OSHA 1910 & 1926, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI standards, and other regulations. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Physical Demands

Includes frequent standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional crawling, climbing, and reaching. Work Environment

Office setting with frequent exposure to shop environments. Additional Information
