We are a bilingual preschool in San Francisco (Inner Richmond District) seeking a passionate French-speaking teacher who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and the natural world. Job is full-time (5 days a week) or 4 days a week with a salary adjustment. Responsibilities
Lead engaging, play-based learning experiences in French, centered around nature and environmental themes. Take children on neighborhood nature walks, teaching them to observe local flora and fauna. Design and implement
STEM activities
that encourage curiosity about the natural world (e.g., planting, composting, studying insects, weather journaling). Integrate
yoga and mindfulness
into the daily rhythm, fostering calm bodies and curious minds. Partner with families to support children’s learning and development in both language and nature connection. Lead science-based, hands-on activities that engage young children in observation, experimentation, and discovery. Qualifications
Fluent French speaker
with strong classroom experience. Diploma in Early Childhood Education
(ECE units, Master’s in Education, or equivalent). A passion for nature and an appreciation for San Francisco’s native plants, animals, and ecosystems. Commitment to outdoor learning — rain or shine — and the ability to turn simple natural phenomena into moments of wonder. Mindful educator who values yoga, movement, and self-regulation as part of a holistic learning experience. Ability to design and lead
science-based, hands-on activities
for observation and discovery. Requirements
