Overview
We are representing a beverage development group that has an opening for a Beverage Scientist / Food Technologist to develop and scale emulsions and beverage formulations. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on lab experience using homogenizers, high-shear mixers, and emulsification systems. You’ll support projects from R&D concept through commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize emulsions for flavors, clouds, and functional beverages.
Operate and troubleshoot high-pressure homogenizers and lab-scale mixing equipment.
Conduct stability testing, particle size analysis, and shelf-life studies.
Document formulations and support pilot plant and production scale-up.
Partner with R&D, Operations, and QA to ensure product success.
Qualifications
BS/MS in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
2 years of beverage product development or food R&D.
Strong knowledge of emulsions, homogenization, and colloidal science.
Experience with stability testing, flavor systems, and functional ingredients.
Excellent lab skills and attention to detail.
