We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Washington DC office. The successful candidate must be able to prioritize work, be detail oriented, work independently, and help to foster a team atmosphere in a professional, fast-paced environment. The role requires in-office attendance Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm. How You Will Contribute (Responsibilities)
Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international mail and packages, including certified mail receipt distribution, filing, and uploading to designated platforms (e.g., BOX). Coordinate outgoing courier packages and make trips to USPS/FedEx distribution centers as needed. Oversee conference room operations, including scheduling reservations, maintaining a working knowledge of video conferencing and AV equipment to assist and train others, ensuring rooms are tidy and appropriately stocked, and coordinating/reporting maintenance or cleaning issues. Serve as backup support to the local office Tax Executive Assistant (EA), process expense reports in Concur, and assist with travel arrangements for Managing Directors (MDs) as required. Support the Tax Campus Recruiting team with local events, including inventory management and shipping items to/from events. Act as the local office point of contact for Tax Intern onboarding and events. Maintain office inventory, ensuring supplies are adequately stocked and reordered as necessary. Provide administrative support for various tasks, ensuring smooth office operations and adherence to organizational standards. Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and professional demeanor Proven ability to interact effectively with clients and employees at all levels Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in computer applications and calendaring, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent follow-through capabilities Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities Self-motivated, creative thinker, and collaborative team player Your journey at A&M
