Overview Akkodis is seeking a

Technical Architect - Facility Maintenance Platform

for a contract with a client in Bentonville, AR. You will lead the design of a secure, cloud-ready platform and guide integration across frontend, backend, messaging, and cloud components.

Rate Range:

$45/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the technical architecture for a scalable, enterprise-grade facility maintenance platform serving Walmart and its global teams.

Design and prototype modular, secure, and cloud-ready components aligned with Walmart’s UX and security standards.

Provide architectural guidance across the full stack, including frontend (ReactJS/React Native), backend (Java Spring Boot), messaging (Kafka), and cloud (GCP/Azure).

Establish robust data flow and integration patterns to ensure seamless communication between platform components.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and QA to ensure smooth and timely delivery.

Document architectural decisions and mentor development teams, promoting best practices in scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of 10 years in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on enterprise platforms.

Proven experience designing scalable, microservices-based solutions using Java Spring Boot and Kafka.

Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (GCP or Azure), and frontend technologies like ReactJS and React Native.

Pay Details:

$45.00 to $49.00 per hour
