The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Cardiology Physician at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. About the Appointment: The department is looking for an individual with a strong interest in Pediatric Heart Failure, Mechanical Circulatory Devices, and Pediatric Heart Transplant, to join our Medical Director of Heart Failure/Transplant/VAD. Responsibilities include participating in pre- and post-transplant cardiac evaluation and treatment of cardiomyopathies and heart failure due to various etiologies. The position may involve general pediatric cardiology care at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital and/or outreach clinics. Depending on expertise, the role may also include echocardiographic interpretation and inpatient/outpatient services. Additional duties encompass teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as engaging in service activities and scholarly work in the candidate's area of specialty or research, aiming for collaborative or independent, externally funded research. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited ACGME Pediatric residency and Pediatric Cardiology fellowship programs. Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Licensed or able to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure. Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in Minnesota. Meet criteria for Credentialing and Privileges. Legal ability to work in the United States.
