Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement strategies to address students' needs and support their learning and well-being.
Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and crisis intervention strategies.
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to evaluate students for special education eligibility and contribute to the development of IEPs.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
Qualifications
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field required
Strong assessment and evaluation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff
Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to special education and student support services
