Security Professional - Hospital Patrol

in

Memphis, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and related environments. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence helps deter security-related incidents, while your communication and customer service skills contribute to a positive onsite experience. You will support hospital operations and respond to situations as needed, upholding Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thu 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations

Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols for healthcare locations

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns

Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel

Assist with access control measures, including monitoring entrances and exits, checking IDs, and granting access to authorized individuals per location policies

Support Allied Universal's commitment to maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors

Participate in emergency drills and respond to alarms or requests for assistance as directed by site leadership

What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent with proof as required by the client

Willing and able to receive required vaccines as mandated by the hospital client

Ability to work in hospital environments, including morgue areas, as required by the client

Ability to safely restrain individuals in accordance with hospital protocols as required by the client

Background investigation as a condition of employment in accordance with laws

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws

Drug screen as a condition of employment where permitted by law

Liaise with licensing requirements as dictated by state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment

Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
