The University of Southern California (USC) is seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery (Clinician Educator) at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and the Keck School of Medicine (KSOM). The ideal candidate will have clinical expertise in general pediatric neurosurgical conditions and an interest in treating hydrocephalus. Candidate must share and demonstrate a personal commitment to CHLA's values of respect, excellence, service, knowledge, and teamwork. Responsibilities include: Clinical care for pediatric neurosurgical patients Education of the next generation of pediatric neurosurgeons Research and leadership experience in a children's hospital and/or academic pediatric department Requirements include: Board eligibility or certification in pediatric neurological surgery Strong clinical, research, and leadership experience in a children's hospital and/or academic pediatric department affiliated with a university medical school The Division of Neurosurgery is an integral part of The Neurological Institute at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, serving children from newborns to young adults. An integrated clinic space for the Divisions of Neurology and Neurosurgery offers comprehensive and integrated outpatient neurologic services in a patient-centered environment.
