Responsibilities
Support the Bank in managing the distributed system changes with change management, control and deployment.
Review and assess risk associated with requested change.
Make sound decisions on the upstream and downstream impact of change based upon understanding of the Bank’s environment.
Establish control processes and procedures to effectively manage change.
Drive and contribute to automation initiatives - driving productivity, recommending improvements, remediation and operational excellence using quality methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage Operating System Patch management, including evaluation, testing and deployment.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.
Experienced with ITIL methodology, with emphasis on Change and Deployment Management.
Proven experience with operating systems, including one or more of the following:
AIX
HP-UX
RedHat Enterprise Linux
Solaris
Windows Server
VMware
XenApp
Working level experience with various systems applications, including:
JBoss
WebLogic
Websphere
Connect Direct
MQ
Kafka
OpenShift Container Platform
Webservers
Experience with patch management
Experience with automation tools such as BigFix, Chef, etc
Experience with Robotic Process Automation
Experience in Security Audit assessment on operating systems compliance and vulnerability
Provide On-Call 24x7 support on a rotating basis
Self-starter, flexible, good team player and able to work under minimum supervision
Strong in developing processes and maintaining comprehensive documentation
Ability to articulate, possess strong technical communication and interpersonal skills
