Develop a technical relationship and create a dependence of knowledge and thought leadership with our clients and prospects.
Understand client business goals and outcomes and align them to compelling solutions.
Discovers, identifies, and articulates unrecognized business value opportunities through curiosity and a focus to drive business client value.
Cloud Solution Development and Articulation: Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business needs, goals, and objectives; define the organization\'s cloud strategy and roadmap; identify opportunities to leverage cloud services for improved efficiency, agility, and cost savings; recommend suitable cloud platforms, services, and deployment models.
Cloud Solution Design and Presentation: Architect and design cloud-based solutions that align with business and technical requirements; develop scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions; evaluate and select appropriate cloud technologies, frameworks, and tools; design data integrations and connectivity between cloud and on-premises systems; ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
Cloud Security Solution Design and Compliance: Develop and present cloud security strategies, policies, and solutions; ensure solution compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA); stay current with evolving security threats and implement appropriate security measures.
Cloud Integration and Migration: Assess client environment and systems and develop strategies for migrating and/or transforming to the cloud; plan and present the seamless integration of platforms and architectures with cloud-based solutions.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with client business and technical teams as well as internal cross-functional Unisys teams; provide technical guidance and leadership on cloud architecture and best practices; communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; facilitate workshops and knowledge sharing on cloud technologies; build and maintain relationships with cloud service providers and technology vendors.
You will be successful in this role if you have Key Qualifications, skills, and expertise
Strong verbal and written skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Strong familiarity with Google, AWS, Azure, and other cloud/container vendors.
Typically 5-7+ years\' experience in a presales or solution selling role, preferably in the higher-ed marketplace.
Understanding, messaging, and solutioning of Cloud transformations as part of sales pursuits.
Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud IaaS and PaaS; proficiency in cloud architecture design principles and best practices.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure components in the cloud.
Experience in preparing cost estimation for cloud solutions and cloud migration strategies and tools.
Knowledge of networking technologies and cloud networking.
Demonstrates strong knowledge across a wide range of services and solutions.
Understands CXO issues and solution alternatives and is comfortable interacting with them individually or as part of a broader sales team.
Expert in emerging solutions, roadmaps, and business applications of technology.
Recognized thought leadership both internally and externally.
Expert knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of competitor products and services portfolio.
Recognized industry expertise and experience.
At least one Microsoft, CISCO, or Cloud certification credential.
Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified Architect are desirable.
CISSP or other security credential preferred.
First level and advanced university degree or equivalent.
