Overview
We’re hiring a
Project Engineer
to join a well-established civil engineering firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality municipal infrastructure projects across the Texas Gulf Coast. This is a
technical, design-focused role
ideal for a
licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas
or an
EIT actively pursuing licensure .
You’ll work on impactful projects involving
water, wastewater, and stormwater systems , collaborating with a close-knit team and interfacing directly with municipal clients and regulatory agencies.
Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Design and manage municipal infrastructure projects from concept through construction
Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and construction plan sets
Coordinate with internal teams and subconsultants to ensure timely project delivery
Communicate with clients, regulators (TCEQ, EPA, City of Houston), and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
P.E. license in Texas
or ability to obtain (EITs welcome)
3+ years
of experience in municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater design
Strong communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS tools, and hydraulic modeling software (preferred)
Experience working with municipal utility districts (MUDs) and public entities
