Management Data Analyst, Senior Specialist

at Southern California Edison (SCE) and contribute to the Interconnections Processes and Controls (IP&C) group within the System Planning & Engineering business unit. This role involves assisting in preparing reporting to internal and external compliance agencies, compiling monthly performance and trend reports, and supporting audit and data requests. You will solve technical database problems and recommend solutions. This position supports the organization’s data analytics initiatives to enable better decision making. Responsibilities

Undertakes the acquisition, processing, integration, and cleaning of data from multiple sources to support the organization's strategic decision making Initiates the scoping, planning, design and delivery of Data Analytics activities as part of the analytics roadmap Ensures data for analysis meets data quality standards and is interoperable with other data sets, enabling reuse Streamlines analytics and data integration processes through scripting and automation of data ingestion and transformation Promotes data literacy within the organization, ensuring stakeholders understand and can effectively use data and analytics tools Contributes towards partnerships within the organization, proactively engaging with functional teams on analytics to deliver impactful programs using data Builds and supports data structures that can be leveraged by business units across the organization Develops advanced analytics products that provide actionable business insight to key stakeholders Designs and builds data visualizations to engage audiences and enable effective storytelling Protects sensitive information and adheres to the highest standards of conduct and integrity regarding physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets and private data Minimum Qualifications

Five or more years of experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Power Apps, SAS or similar Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field Ability to create custom database queries and reports Experience with Federal or State regulatory compliance entities and programs (ISO, NERC/FERC, CPUC) Experience integrating data from different sources and performing ongoing synchronization Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting technical information Additional Information

Work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with remote work on remaining days. Requires residence in California unless stated otherwise. Southern California Edison provided pay range: Base pay range $111,600.00/yr - $167,400.00/yr. Actual pay is based on skills and experience; discuss with the recruiter for more details. About Southern California Edison
