Senior Reporter
to lead our coverage of the US high-grade bond market—one of the most dynamic and influential sectors in finance. As a key member of our newsroom, you’ll be the go-to expert on US investment-grade corporate bonds, shaping coverage that informs and influences a global audience. Your work will appear across IFR’s platforms—from real-time screens to our flagship weekly magazine—giving you unmatched visibility and impact.
Responsibilities
Break market-moving news and deliver insightful analysis on trends, deals, and key players.
Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier sources: investors, bankers, corporate executives and legal experts.
Represent IFR at industry events and in media appearances as the face of our high-grade bond coverage.
Collaborate with a seasoned editorial team to refine stories and elevate our reporting standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience covering US corporate bond markets or related financial sectors.
A strong network of industry contacts and a passion for cultivating new sources.
Exceptional writing skills with a knack for clarity, context and storytelling.
Editorial leadership and a collaborative mindset.
A desire to grow in a role that blends journalism, analysis and influence.

Compensation and Benefits LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $109,200 - $182,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. This role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Individual salary will reflect job-related knowledge, skills and experience. LSEG benefits include: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan with company match, basic life insurance, disability benefits, and additional benefits described in our plan documentation.
