This position plays a critical role in the success of our retail stores. Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs and provide expert recommendations on Sherwin-Williams products. You will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring outstanding client satisfaction. Keeping updated on product features and maintaining visual standards in the store are also essential to this role. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers of all ages, processing transactions, and having access to cash and other valuable store items. To ensure a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees, a review of criminal history will be conducted. The selected individual will be based at Store #1108 located at 346 Stockbridge Road, Great Barrington, MA 01230, and may be required to work at other nearby stores. Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Assist customers in identifying needs and recommend appropriate products and services. Build strong relationships with clients, both retail and wholesale. Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies. Achieve sales goals consistently on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Manage work order files and maintain product formulas. Retrieve products from sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications. Stock shelves and set up promotions effectively. Maintain cleanliness of store equipment. Assist with deliveries when necessary. Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing. Stay knowledgeable about our product offerings and communicate options effectively. Follow inventory control protocols. Propose improvements to enhance sales performance. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have legal authorization to work without requiring visa sponsorship. Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally. Must be willing to work various scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Internal candidates must meet performance appraisal expectations and complete required training. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. One year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service. Experience selling paint and related products is a plus. Experience with tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language is advantageous. Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
