EY's Analytics and Data team is seeking a Master Data Management Senior Manager focusing on helping our clients define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation. This role requires a seasoned professional with the ability to define a master data management design and a proven track record of system delivery. The individual should guide clients through the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies. You will design and apply comprehensive methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern and control the lifecycle of data assets. You will perform maturity assessments on data management capabilities and advise on tools and roadmaps to implement them. You will articulate information strategies that align with business objectives. This is a high-growth, high-visibility role with significant opportunity to shape digital and data strategies. Your Key Responsibilities

Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis. Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring effective engagement economics. Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results. Define and execute the analytics and data governance strategy for oil & gas clients, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks, including policies, data stewardship models, roles, and accountability across the organization. Oversee Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, and data cataloging practices to ensure data consistency, discoverability, and trust. Ensure compliance with data privacy, protection, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), working closely with Legal, Security, and Risk teams. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of analysts, engineers, and data stewards to deliver high-quality outcomes and maintain stakeholder confidence. Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective data architectures in collaboration with enterprise architects and IT to support business intelligence and advanced analytics needs. Oversee cloud-based data management platforms and technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, and Hadoop for ingestion, storage, and processing. Drive the design and implementation of analytical models, data pipelines, and visualizations to solve complex business problems and generate actionable insights. Leverage advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to enhance operational efficiency and reduce cost. Translate business initiatives into prioritized use cases with measurable ROI and manage delivery across multiple domains. Develop and champion data literacy programs, training, and change management initiatives to embed a data-driven culture across client organizations. Communicate analytical findings through dashboards and visualizations tailored to business and technical audiences. Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders across operations, IT, engineering, and executive leadership. Skills and Attributes for Success

Minimum of 12 years of direct involvement with MDM tools including SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDM. Experience leading delivery teams in data governance, data management, and related system implementations. Knowledge of future trends in the industry and ability to articulate these to customers. Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS and Azure). Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues and drive business outcomes. Proven ability to research and provide insights on industry standards, regulations, technology assessments, and forecasts. Demonstrated expertise in Data Privacy and Master Data Management; strong understanding of Data Governance and Enterprise Strategy. Proven ability to lead teams and manage change effectively; excellent negotiation and influencing skills. To Qualify for the Role

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or related technical field with prior consulting experience. ERP implementation experience including SAP MDG as a component. At least 8 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data governance, or data strategy, preferably in the oil & gas industry. Strong understanding of Data Governance principles and Enterprise IT Architecture. Experience with data governance, data quality frameworks, stewardship models, compliance, and policy creation. Experience in MDM, metadata, lineage tracking, and data catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation). Experience designing and deploying scalable data architectures; proficiency with data analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, Cognite, Palantir, Dataiku, or similar). Ability to lead large-scale digital transformation engagements and manage delivery risk; strong stakeholder management skills. Hands-on experience with cloud and data engineering tools (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake) and data orchestration platforms. A valid driver’s license in the US; willingness and ability to travel internationally to meet client needs. A track record of successful stakeholder engagement and the ability to grow business relationships. Ideal Additional Qualifications

Experience leading cross-functional teams with mentorship focus. Advanced analytical skills and passion for innovation; familiarity with data mesh concepts. Certifications in Azure Data Engineer, Snowflake, Databricks, or related platforms. Experience with Data Office Organization and IT Architecture; familiarity with Digital Fluency and Hybrid Collaboration. Strong emotional agility to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.
