EY's Analytics and Data team is seeking a Master Data Management Senior Manager focusing on helping our clients define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation. This role demands a seasoned professional with an ability to define a master data management design— complemented by a solid track record of system delivery. The individual should be ready to guide clients through the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies. This is a high-growth, high-visibility role with significant opportunity to shape digital and data strategies. Your Responsibilities

Design and apply comprehensive methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern and control the entire lifecycle of data assets. Perform maturity assessments on data management capabilities and advise on tools and roadmaps to implement them. Articulate information strategies that align with business objectives. Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis. Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring effective engagement economics. Define and execute the analytics and data governance strategy for clients, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks, including policies, data stewardship models, roles, and accountability across the organization. Oversee Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, and data cataloging practices to ensure data consistency, discoverability, and trust. Ensure compliance with data privacy, protection, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), collaborating with Legal, Security, and Risk teams. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of analysts, engineers, and data stewards. Design scalable, secure data architectures in collaboration with enterprise architects and IT to support BI and analytics needs. Oversee cloud-based data management platforms and technologies (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Hadoop). Drive the design and implementation of analytical models, data pipelines, and visualizations to generate actionable insights. Leverage advanced analytics and ML techniques to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Translate business initiatives into prioritized use cases with measurable ROI and manage delivery across domains. Develop and champion data literacy programs and change management to embed a data-driven culture. Communicate analytical findings through dashboards and visualizations tailored to audiences. Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders across operations, IT, engineering, and executive leadership. Your Skills and Attributes

Minimum of 12 years with MDM tools including SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDM; experience leading delivery teams in data governance and data management. Knowledge of industry trends and ability to articulate them to customers; cloud familiarity (AWS and Azure). Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to mentor teams and drive outcomes. Experience with data privacy, governance, and enterprise strategy. Hands-on experience with cloud and data engineering tools (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake) and data catalog tools (Collibra, Alation). Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). A valid US driver’s license and willingness to travel internationally for client needs. Qualifications to Apply

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or related field with prior consulting experience. ERP implementation experience including SAP MDG components; 8+ years in data analytics, governance, or strategy, preferably in oil & gas. Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality, stewardship, compliance, and policy creation. Experience with MDM, metadata, lineage tracking, and data catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation). Demonstrated experience designing and deploying scalable data architectures. Proven track record leading large-scale digital transformation engagements and managing delivery risk. Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and business domains. Certifications in Azure Data Engineer, Snowflake, Databricks or related platforms are a plus. What EY Offers
