Our client is a growing CPA firm looking to add more clients. To do this, they are adding a
Tax Accountant
who is career-driven, detail-oriented, and motivated to make a lasting impact. This role offers the chance to take on meaningful client responsibilities, grow within the firm, and develop along a potential manager or partner track if that is your goal! Key Responsibilities
Manage client engagements from planning through completion, including budgeting, deadlines, and client expectations. Supervise, train, and mentor junior associates on client projects. Prepare complex individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns. Provide tax planning services, including estimated payment calculations. Identify tax savings opportunities and support the review process. Research and resolve tax issues; draft tax memos or client letters as needed. Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree (or in progress) preferred. CPA license (or actively pursuing) required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in public accounting, primarily in Tax. Strong understanding of corporate, individual, and partnership tax compliance and planning. Proficiency in tax and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Excel, and other tax software is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to client service and quality work. Competitive compensation package.
